Easy Chinese Fried Noodles 





Ingredients 

To prepare the authentic Chinese Fried Noodles, gather the following ingredients:

  • 8 ounces of Chinese egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup of shredded cabbage
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1/2 cup of bean sprouts
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

   Direction

Step 1
Boil the Chinese egg noodles:
Begin by bringing a pot of water to a boil. Add the Chinese egg noodles and cook according to the package instructions until they reach a tender yet firm texture. Drain the noodles and set them aside

Step 2
Prepare the stir-fry sauce: In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix the ingredients well until the sugar has dissolved, creating a flavorful stir-fry sauce.

Step 3
Stir-fry the vegetables: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sliced onion, and sauté them until they become fragrant and slightly caramelized. Next, add the shredded cabbage, julienned carrot, bean sprouts, and chopped green onions. Stir-fry the vegetables for a few minutes until they are crisp-tender, maintaining their vibrant colors and retaining their natural crunch.

Step 4 
Incorporate the noodles and stir-fry sauce: Add the boiled Chinese egg noodles to the skillet or wok containing the stir-fried vegetables. Pour the prepared stir-fry sauce over the noodles and vegetables. Using tongs or chopsticks, gently toss and mix the ingredients, ensuring that the sauce evenly coats the noodles and vegetables. Continue stir-frying for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Step 5 
Serve and enjoy: Transfer the Chinese Fried Noodles to serving plates or bowls. Optionally, garnish the dish with additional chopped green onions for added freshness and visual appeal. Serve the noodles hot and savor the authentic flavors of this classic Chinese dish.
